Secret Spot
King Baguette was located at MLK & Graham. I kept this place a huge secret, worried it would become popular, overcrowded, the place would become jaded, the quality would suffer, I would eventually become disappointed. Instead, something worse happened - they closed. Not sure why, but they really had the bomb banh mi.

Precious Moments
When I retire, I'm going to amass a very large collection of these Precious Moments figurines and scare myself to sleep every night looking at them. I will line them up like the terracotta army in China. In the middle of the night, I will wake up and cuss at them for not standing up straight enough. Geriatric living will be the bomb! Could someone please get me a glass of water?

License To Ill
I purchased this albumn at the now defunct Tower Records at the bottom of Queen Anne hill. It was in cassette format. I played the hell out of this tape, the ink from side a and b wore off. Tower Books, Tower Video, Tower Records - RIP.

Poilane
The Poilane bakery in Paris has a real, functioning chandelier made entirely of bread. It must be replaced every two years or so.

She's Got Legs
Legwarmers from Sock Dreams. I wonder what those hot chicks from the ZZ Top video are up to these days? However, I am more curious about the long-haired Asian lady on Soul Train who also made an appearance on the Super Freak Rick James video.

Valextra Handbags
So useful and pretty - from what I can see. Too poor to buy one but for those who can, they're at Barneys.

David
He is known on the streets as "Davey." These are photos of him when he was 2 years old. He understands basic commands and is very responsive. If you see him in public, do not apprehend him. He is considered armed and dangerous, weapon of choice: his crooked teeth. He will soon be enrolled in the Scared Straight Program.

Note To Self
Barneys makes everything better, so does butter and red wine and Pink Floyd and walking down Waters street. I will try to not wear so much black (fashion advice from my niece Gabriela, in which I respond - please stop wearing your door knocker earings, they hurt my face when you hug me).
