One of the great style icons in American history is Madame. She really knows how to rock out her baubles. When I was a kid watching the muppet show, I wanted to be just like her. There was something romantic about her silky chiffon outfits, I loved the way her hair was tied into a perfect chignon, I liked her saucy ways, and her grand arm gestures allowed all of us a quick glimpse of her blingy rings. But as it turned out, in my adult life, I'm more like one of these two losers:
